In 1969 Manuel Torres and his wife, Ángeles Medel, open a potato chip stand in Premià de Mar.
Shortly after, the business started growing and Manuel and Juan, the couple's children, decided to expand the business and move the production of the potato chips to Premià de Dalt, keeping the stand open.
The traditional, handcrafted process employed by the Torres family generates popularity among their potato chips because of their quality. In 1995, in order to attend to the increasing demands, they decided to move to the current facilities in Dosrius.

We implemented a slight restyling of our traditional packaging to modernize it in accordance with the demands of the market. However, we still maintain our old-fashion, handcrafted elaboration process to continue providing the highest quality end product.
We modernized the corporate image of Torres and also launched the Torres Selecta range and began marketing our 100% extra virgin olive oil potato chips, salted Marcona almonds, salted peanuts, natural walnuts and roasted pistachios.
